We believe leadership should be a developing and evolving practice. Therefore, we encompass leadership that may be positively influenced by the decisions of all staff and equally of the young people. To meet this leadership style, we actively involve everyone in decision making processes from their vantage points. We have activity’s that support young people to have a voice in how the home operates and processes to ensure staff receive enhanced support that promotes excellent reflective practice.
Our leadership focuses on being evidence based and follows the NICE Guidelines to inform our practice. This method falls in line with our therapeutic model that our whole team implement on a daily basis. These factors influence and further establish our homes ethos.
We have strict adherence to regulations, legislation and government guidance, actively keeping abreast of developments and updates relating to residential care and provide the highest standard of care possible. This means we ensure staff receive ongoing continuous professional development (CPD) and have support structures to help them increase their empathy levels, emotional resilience and self-awareness.
